We choose the Church near our new house in Cogeo Gate II Antipolo, It's St. Anthony of Padua Parish Church. We got the List of Requirements from the Church well now we are having a hard time giving the first two Requirements to give the Church which is 1. Baptismal Certificate and 2. Confirmation Certificate because in my 29 years of existence I don't have a record of my Baptismal it's just so weird since I even have a picture in the Church on the day of my Baptismal and I also have my God Parent's included in the picture. How do we found out? my Mom Esther wanted to surprise me on a Thursday afternoon that she will be going to Mandaluyong that's where we live way way back and go to Sacred Heart Chapel where i was supposedly been baptized..
When my mom talked to the registrar or whatever they may be called the old lady said sorry there is no record of that name that was been baptized that year, my mom was so devastated since all she knew I was already baptized and besides I grew up and went to a Catholic School all my nursery till my high school days.. so to make the story short the so-called surprise papers make my mom surprise and texted me "Anak mag papabinyag ka na lang ulit kasi wala kang record ng binyag mo dito" in english "my daughter you need to be baptized again since you don't have a record here" when i read it I was like WTF! really???
When I thought this would be easy i mean I thought all this years I have a Baptismal Certificate! LOL!!! and to make things worst my Confirmation Certificate have my Surname spelled wrong instead of Ablanida it was Ablaneda.... same as the Surname of my Parents, Armando Ablaneda and Esther Espimieva... that suppose to be Armando Ablanida and Esther Espinueva.
Now we need to get a Certificate of No Record in Mandaluyong to be able to make a schedule so i can be baptized and have my papers ready so we can reserve the date in the church for our wedding!!! haiz... what a week :'| anyway hope my Dad can get it this saturday! I will update soon if the plan goes well... in my other certificate I think We can ask someone from Antipolo Parish to make a revision of it or certify that it's the same person..
